The Seventh Juror

Grégoire Duval, a respectable, unremarkable small-town pharmacist, strangles a young woman on a beach in a moment of madness. The justice system quickly arrests an innocent man. In an ironic twist of fate, Duval is summoned to serve as the seventh juror in the trial for his own crime. Consumed by remorse, he uses his position to try to clear the defendant’s name, even if it means upsetting the local bourgeoisie.
