French voice over services, recorded in Casablanca
dB PROD·FACTORY has recorded French voice-over in Casablanca since 2016. Documentaries, corporate films, e-learning, advertising, IVR systems: we pick the right voice from more than 150 French-speaking actors, we direct the session, on site or remotely, and we deliver files ready to air. Allow 24-48 h for a short format.

A voice-over for every use
A voice-over is not recorded the same way for every use. Documentary narration breathes and leaves room for the image. A 30-second spot has to convince from the first second. A phone greeting must stay clear on a line compressed to 8 kHz. We adapt the casting, the direction and the mix to where the file will be used.
- Documentary: measured narration, timed to the edit, delivered as multitrack WAV or AAF/OMF
- Corporate and institutional: company films, annual reports, internal videos, sales presentations
- E-learning and training: clear diction, split by module, consistent tone across hours of content
- Advertising: 15, 30, 45 and 60-second spots, broadcast masters, multiple versions
- IVR: greetings, menus, hold music, WAV 8k/16k, μ-law and A-law formats
Voice-over in Morocco: a studio, not just a voice
In Morocco, many voice-overs are ordered online from actors who record at home. For an internal video, that can be enough. For a TV broadcast, a national campaign or an e-learning course of several hours, you need a studio: a clean, directed take, consistent from one session to the next, and a final file that meets broadcast standards.
- Closed, acoustically treated studios, including an 18 m² vocal booth (Studio A)
- Session directed by a sound engineer, on site or remotely
- Comparative casting: several voices proposed on your own script before you decide
- Mix and levels matched to the destination: EBU R128 for TV, web levels for social media
- A single point of contact for projects with several voices and several versions
- Usage rights and confidentiality set out in writing, with an NDA on request
A French voice, wherever you are
Our voice-over clients are spread across 9 countries: producers, agencies, dubbing studios, communication teams. All our voices are French. In practice, many follow the session live, from Paris or elsewhere, and step in between takes. With France, the time difference is one hour at most: sessions are scheduled around your hours. We deliver files to your specifications, and a single point of contact follows your project from quote to delivery.
- French voices only
- Session followed live, remotely
- Files delivered to your technical specifications
- Usage rights and confidentiality set out in writing, NDA on request
- A single point of contact, in French or English
Casting and registers: finding the right voice
Our voice bank brings together more than 150 French-speaking actors, aged 15 to 75, in every register: understated, warm, punchy, institutional. We offer you a selection chosen for your content, your audience and your medium. You receive two to four voices with samples, and we can record a test on your own script before the casting is confirmed.
- Voices selected based on content, audience and medium
- Understated, warm, punchy and institutional registers
- French-speaking actors, French voices only
- Test on your own script possible before approval
Voice-over or dubbing: which one do you need?
The question comes up on every project, and the answer changes the budget, the schedule and the final result. Dubbing replaces the original dialogue with a French version synchronized to the lips, with one actor per character. Voice-over places a French voice over the original track, which can still be heard underneath: no lip-sync constraint, only fitting the timing and respecting the cuts. In short: the more your content relies on the performance of the characters, the more dubbing is needed. The more it relies on information, the more voice-over is enough. Documentaries, corporate films, e-learning and interviews almost always call for voice-over, which is faster to produce and to approve.
- Voice-over: a single narrator or a few voices, timed to the picture, fast production
- Dubbing: one actor per character, frame-accurate lip-sync, full artistic direction
- Hybrid option: dub close-up testimonials, use voice-over for the general narration
- We recommend the right technique as soon as we receive your content
Studio and remote direction
Since 2020, our 4 closed, soundproofed studios have been together at 7 avenue du 2 Mars, in Casablanca. Voice-overs are recorded in Studio A, a closed 18 m² vocal booth with full acoustic treatment. The recording chain runs through a Neumann U87, a UAD Apollo x8 interface and Pro Tools HDX, for a clean sound that stays consistent from one session to the next, long narrations included. You can come to the studio or direct remotely: you hear every take live and step in on intonation, pacing or the pronunciation of a proper name. If you are not available, our sound engineer directs the session from your brief and references.

- Recording chain: Neumann U87, UAD Apollo x8, Pro Tools HDX, KRK Rokit 8 monitors
