dB PROD·FACTORY is a dubbing studio founded in Casablanca in 2016 and located since 2020 at 7 avenue du 2 Mars. We produce French versions for producers, distributors, platforms and dubbing agencies in 9 countries. We dub into French from English, Chinese, Spanish and other languages, with 4 soundproofed studios, more than 150 French-speaking voice actors and a team that covers everything from adaptation to final mix.

What we dub: films, series, animation, branded content
Our core business is French lip-sync dubbing: feature films, series and animation, for cinema, television and streaming platforms. We also do voice-over for documentaries and news features, French versions of commercials and corporate films, subtitling and audio description. All our voices are French. We receive programs in English, Chinese, Spanish and other languages, which we adapt into French. Each format has its own rhythm and synchronization constraints: our adapters and artistic directors take them into account from the translation stage.

Our process and turnaround times
Every project follows seven steps: script analysis, transcription of the original version, translation and adaptation, casting, recording, mixing, then quality check and delivery. You approve the casting and the adaptation before recording, which avoids costly retakes at the end of the chain. A short format (commercial, trailer, excerpt) is delivered in 24-48 h. A feature film takes 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the number of characters and the difficulty of the adaptation. The schedule is set in the quote and followed by a single point of contact through to delivery.

Four soundproofed studios on avenue du 2 Mars
Since 2020, our 4 studios have been together at 7 avenue du 2 Mars, in Casablanca. They are closed, treated, soundproofed and connected to each other: we can record several actors or several projects at the same time, each in its own studio. The site also has a green-screen stage, servers dedicated to production and dispatch, and a meeting room. Studio A, a fully treated 18 m² booth (0.18 s reverberation time), is equipped with a Neumann U87, a UAD Apollo x8 interface and Pro Tools HDX. We deliver stereo, 5.1 and Dolby Atmos mixes, at EBU R128 levels.
