Les Oliviers de la justice

1962. As the Algerian war of independence draws to a close, Jean returns to Algeria, where he was born, to be at his dying father's bedside. He revisits childhood memories in which Algerians and Europeans seemed to live side by side in harmony, until the reality of colonialism and inequality catches up with him.
