Toto the Hero

Living in a retirement home, Thomas Van Hasebroeck looks back on a life consumed by jealousy of his neighbour Alfred Kant. Convinced he was switched at birth, he dreams of revenge and imagines himself as a hero, Toto the secret agent.

Weaving memory, fantasy and reality, Jaco Van Dormael's first feature, winner of the Caméra d'Or at Cannes in 1991, is a poignant tale of regret and illusion.

We produced the French audio-described version of this film for blind and visually impaired audiences. The work covered audio description scripting, voice casting, studio recording and audio cleanup.
