Anthony Perkins, l'acteur derrière la porte

Christophe Champclaux's documentary portrays Anthony Perkins, made famous by the role of Norman Bates in Psycho. It traces his career, from his Broadway beginnings and Friendly Persuasion to Alfred Hitchcock's masterpiece, and recalls how he had to hide his homosexuality in the puritanical America of the 1950s.

Film clips, songs, rare archives of Perkins speaking French and testimonies from those close to him make up an intimate portrait.

We produced the documentary's French audio-described version, as well as the dubbing of its English-language interviews. The work covered script adaptation, scriptwriting, audio description scripting, voice casting, voice direction, studio recording, audio cleanup, mixing and quality control.
